1st time here for lunch, been to their other outlets. The restaurant is clean, service is good & love the food. My rating: Dimsum - 4/5 Roast duck - 4/5 Steam chicken - 4.3/5 Hokkien mee - 4/5 (not sure what it's sweet should be savory)

Spacious and elegant Chinese restaurant with a nice ambiance. The dim sum and dishes were flavorful and well-presented. Service was decent and suitable for family gatherings or celebrations. Will come back again.
Grand Imperial Restaurant Nice dim sum with a good variety — fresh and flavorful. The soup was especially yummy, and the deep-fried dishes were crispy and well done. Service was attentive and friendly. The place is comfortable with plenty of seating, great for a relaxed meal. The Har Gow (Hakkao) and Siu Mai (Silmai) were particularly delicious. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Recommended.

Came here for a birthday dinner with a group of friends. Our host curated the menu to be paired by wines and champagne. The restaurant did a good job serving and making the dinner memorable. We were in a private dinner room with attached toilet and there were 2 wait staff for us. The first course was appetizers - 4 combination of abalone jelly, crab claw, prawns with truffle and scallop. Everything was delicious. Next we had grilled iberico ribs with butter. Very tasty but I wish it had more meat to it. After that we were served braised cabbage with crab meat and dried scallop. I find this a bit too salty but it was very flavorful. Finally we had curry fish in clay pot with meehoon. This was a rather surprising choice but it was really good and I enjoyed the fish very much. Finally we had longevity bun. One of the best buns I’ve had in a restaurant.
Service was attentive. Portion was good. We had 2 young children and the staff arranged the appropriate cutleries and seats for them. Food were presentable and within expectation. Price wise is what we expected as it is at Pavillion.

Have had their Chinese Lunar New Year Lou Sang for a few years now, and it's the best I've had out of so many chinese restaurants. They use good quality food ingredients, and it's always very refreshing. Their other dishes are great as well. Enjoyed their Suckling Pig dish and Steam Fish dish (they put a lot of fried pork lard, so if you're all about healthy dish maybe you can ask for it to be removed) too. Their service is good as well, polite waiters. Ample paid parking spot opposite the building. A very short walk over to the escalator and 1 floor up.
It's a very nice dining experience. I love the atmosphere of the design, and also the food and the texture is great! I really loveeee it! 5 stars for me!
A very good place for dim sum. However, it only starts operating at 11:30am. The staff are attentive, and the restaurant has a grand ambience that matches its pricing.

Revisited on 6th Feb 2026. Still my favorite restaurant in Genting. London duck is a must eat here. 🦆. Strongly recommand 👍.

I tried the Dim Sum, Wanton noodles and had "Nian Gao" for dessert. It's very tasty and I recommend Hong Kong food lovers to give this place a try.
We really enjoyed the food here. The dim sum—especially the lotus leaf rice, prawn dumplings, and siew mai—was delicious, and the BBQ pork wantan mee was my personal favourite. The atmosphere and service were great as well. We will definitely come back again. 我们非常喜欢这里的食物。点心都很出色，尤其是荷叶饭、虾饺和烧卖，而叉烧云吞面是我个人最喜欢的一道。餐厅的环境和服务也都很不错，一定会再来。

Both were extremely professional and cooperative, working closely with me throughout the entire process to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their teamwork played a huge role in creating a delightful and memorable evening for the newlyweds and their family and friends. 🍻🍻 ArLuu was especially impressive in handling the technical setup, perfectly matching the music to the ambiences I wanted to create for the newlyweds on the stage! 😄💪 The entire banquet team was polite and a pleasure to work with. Went for winter solstice dinner with family. Overall, food was good but there was some delays in between dishes. Perhaps, maybe it's full house.

We held our wedding luncheon ant Grand Imperial Sunway Velocity and we are extremely satisfied with food and services provided to us. The manager, Albee who provided attentive service, the arrangements were smooth and well coordinated. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all our guests. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience.
I first time come imperial ballroom have wedding dinner , tis place was very grand and place was clean and evvirikent was look class elegant .. the food was very delicious and staff service are good .. every food v eat will change the plate .. they provide vallet car park easy for parking ..
Excellent dim sum quality comparable to Hong Kong's standard. What really blew my mind, was the crispy pork belly together with mustard. It's literally melt in your mouth kind of crispy. The Hong Kong style noodles with stewed pork ribs were cooked to perfection. Noodles were spongy and white radish literally melts in your mouth.
Had my wedding dinner hosted at Grand Imperial Sunway Velocity last year. Wonderful experience overall, guests compliment about foods, services & overall venue atmosphere. Special thanks to restaurant manager Ken Lee for his fabulous effort in managing all behind-the-scene works that make my wedding memorable one. Great works from Angus (Hao) as well who was in charge of media & audio. Nothing to complain overall. Staff are friendly and helpful. Event hall is spacious. I will definitely recommend this restaurant for wedding.

蒸した魚が丁度良い調理加減でとても美味しかった。北京ダックも美味い。脆皮豚焼肉、北京ダック一羽、蒸し魚一匹、空芯菜炒めを3人で食べて800-900RM。満腹で、北京ダックは半分持ち帰った。
Was here this evening for a family dinner. Staff are super friendly and always at hand and ready to serve. The Manager (owner?) was very helpful in recommending dishes to suit our family with children. The food was excellent and we were able to take out what we couldn't finish. Will come back!

Had a very good dining experience at this restaurant. Good for special occasions. Service staff very attentive in replenishing Chinese tea. Dirty plates get replaced quickly and making sure empty plates were removed. Some food photos not included cause forgot to take pictures but it was a satisfying meal. This is more of a upper restaurant so pricing is not your typical dim sum restaurant prices. Their Chinese tea basically starts from Rm4.50 per pax. 10% service charge including government tax of 6%.

The dim sum dishes are so yummy better than many famous rest in Singapore or hong Kong . The rest manager Annie is so nice and friendly . Will be back for lunch tomorrow with reservations make .

The restaurant service is excellent. Was suppose to attend a concert at arena of stars and came to the restaurant for early dinner thinking that the concert starting at 8pm. While waiting for the food to be served and suddenly realized that the concert starting at 6pm instead. We inform the service staff to pack up the food for us uneaten while we pay for it and collect it after the concert. Came back to the restaurant after the concert and requested if we could have the packed food in the restaurant instead of taking it away and without hesitation they agreed to it. What surprises me was that they even heat up the food for us and recook the vegetable for us which we packed as the service staff inform that the vegetable had turned soggy since the one we order was with soup. Really good experience with the restaurant. Will revisit again when I come genting.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this Chinese restaurant. We ordered a set menu for six, and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and the overall value for money. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. We also added an à la carte dish — the village chicken fried with sliced ginger — and it completely exceeded our expectations. Who knew fried ginger could taste this good? It was fragrant, crispy, and added a unique flavor to the dish. A definite must-try! The staff were generally attentive and helpful, though a few of the foreign workers seemed a little unsure, possibly new, as they were confused by a simple request for fork and spoon. That said, it didn’t affect our overall experience too much. All in all, great food, good service, and excellent value. We’d definitely come back!
Food tasted great, crispy roast pork was not too fatty and skin was crunchy. Hot plate beef was tender and juicy. Peking duck was not as tasty as the one at Fei Duck Jakarta-but ok. 2nd serving of peking duck was not too oily so perfect to eat with lettuce. Mixed veggies stir-fry was tasty too. We tried their dimsum the next morning and it was a real hit!
Ordered a few dim sum items along with: • 鍋仔魚湯鮮竹滾莧菜苗 • 港式生炒菠蘿骨 • 深海龍虎躉花膠火腩蒜子 Highlights from the meal: • 水晶鮮蝦餃: The skin was delicately crafted and translucent, wrapping around a few whole, plump shrimp — fresh and flavorful. • 蛋撻: Excellent — soft, smooth custard with a gentle crust that didn’t overpower. • 鮮蝦腐皮卷: Nicely done — crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. • 懷舊馬來糕: Lightly sweetened with a nostalgic touch, and the texture was fluffy yet moist. • 鍋仔魚湯鮮竹滾莧菜苗: Deliciously done. The broth was light yet rich, and I really enjoyed the taste and fragrance of the 腐皮 — subtle, comforting, and full of depth. The only letdown was the 深海龍虎躉花膠火腩蒜子 — the portion felt small for the price, and it would’ve been better with more fish in the mix. Overall, a thoughtfully prepared and enjoyable meal with several standout dishes. Will definitely come again to try more.

I had my wedding dinner held here and our PIC Albee was awesome. She made sure everything, from top to bottom, went smoothly and whatever needs we had were met. Out food was too salty during food tasting, she made sure it was just right on the day it self, and the food was great! Especially their chicken soup, it was sooo good. The whole wedding went smoothly with no hicks and our timing was the most on time wedding my mum has ever been to (partly thanks to our guests for being punctual as well). Servers were efficient and everything was well communicated. Definitely made my big day memorable and worth it.
Part of a famous Chinese restaurant chain, the Grand Imperial on level 3 of the Bangsar Shopping center is a nice place to take family and friends for lunch or dinner. Favorite dishes - the 3 seasons combo with cooked prawns, yam with scallop inserts and I think honey pork ribs were a great starter. Others that I enjoyed were the little lin yong buns they served as desert towards the end of the dinner. My wife seems to love all the dishes.
Always best tasting and quality never dissapointing. Have eaten here many times and I must say it taste even better than KL branch. Some notable dishes were: The London duck was delicious so moist and crispy skin. The fishmaw shark bone soup always a best seller. Roast pork skin crisp and juicy. Attentive service and nice dining experience.

Great service - staff were always refilling our tea and attentive. Food was good - we ordered a suckling pig and a fried soon hock which were very good. Suckling pig needs to be ordered in advance with a deposit so take note. Useful tip: in genting it's best not to look at the very high review score restaurants - it is likely they bought those reviews. This restaurant is easily better than all those high review score ones we tried.

We recently had our associate appreciation dinner at Grand Imperial Bangsar, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambience was elegant and welcoming. Just right for a special evening. The food was top-notch, beautifully presented, and full of rich, authentic flavours. A special thanks to Ms. Bobo for her excellent service. She was incredibly helpful, and attentive. She had great follow up with the preparation leading up to the event and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. 酒樓位置比較偏 ，但亦因為這樣，所以午間泊車比較多位。 酒樓裝修屬於上等，侍應服務週到。 現在已經找不到有酒樓為你的茶用蠟燭保暖，這是屬於罕有的一間。 重點當然是點心及食物質素。點心選擇不算太多， 但質素屬於上乘。今次去嘗試的是六人套餐及點心，雖然較一般的貴，但質素上乘，人人都吃得開心。 小菜，湯類也是近期心頭好，忍不住隔個星期也想去吃。(雖然確實較一般的貴了點)

Sunday 4 May 2025 - invited for a birthday lunch. It was a reservation table. It was a dim sum lunch. Dim sum variety is very good. Food quality is also very good. The staff were attentive and helpful. Very good environment for business lunch and/or dinner. Also good for wedding receptions, especially Chinese style - lunch or dinner.
This Chinese restaurant is excellent. Superb variety of Cantonese-style cooking. Does a great Peking Duck. It has been consistent for last 3 years we’ve been going there. Expensive but you get what you paid for. Quality after all is a price you pay. We have this German couple friend who will always insist on this place to eat on each year they visit us in KL. Definitely one of my go-to Chinese restaurant

Had my wedding lunch here. Food was very good and Carmen did a great job managing the event for us. PA system was very good and everything was smooth and successful.
Haven't been back here in a while. My latest visit yielded well cooked dishes and good service.

We enjoyed the dinner so much. Environment is good. We ordered set for 4 person and add some ala-cart meal. The half bird roasted London duck was delicious. The skin of the duck was crispy. Worth to come and try.
I’ve tried their dim sum tastes good and return for dinner. Service is good. Im glad they are cooking authentic Cantonese style.

Great CNY feel in the restaurant. Fish maw soup is light and no fishy smell. Steam fish was a bit bland. The star was definately the Iberico spare ribs!!. Gloves was provided so you could eat with your hands, feels abit like a barbarian. hahhaha. Prawns was fresh and chewy. Even the glutinous rice taste light and deliciuos. Came decorated with whole abalone...Yee Sang was with abalone though tasted "normal"
It is located at the 9th floor of the famous Pavilion KL Mall. Nice choices of dishes. Especially the mango pomelo saga, super super delicious 😋.
When expectations are managed and we just want good chinese food, Grand Imperial never disappoints. Apart from the top notch service team, the chefs here prepare some of the most delicious chinese dishes ever. We don’t usually choose from the menu and just let them tell us what we should have and they nail it all the time. Lovely meal. Ultimate shiok.

Hotpot quality here better than Bangsar branch. Soup tastes better, meat slices also thicker.
Had steamboat ala carte for dinner here. This is a traditional Chinese full service restaurant. food was very fresh, some of the premium seafood items are live in tanks. Service is attentive, superb, and not obtrusive. I was very impressed overall. Toilets are very clean, too. The soup base was super delicious. Only one small gripe is the aircon is way too cold, freezing. Come with sweater if u plan to stay long. Definitely will come back here for any celebration or special dinners. Our cost was about 115rm per pax but the dinner was worth every sen. Helps if you have at least someone in the party who speaks Chinese, though. The server's recommendations for menu items was spot on.
It feels luxurious to be here. The food are of high quality, rich flavor, and vivid colors. Humble and attentive staff always ready to cater to your needs.
We had dim sum and peking duck. ( the peking duck was up to their usual standard-eggscellent!!. The meat was cooked in the fried rice style ( you may choose noodles as an alternative) the xiao loong bao was the only disappointing dim sum dish we had. ( Din Fai Foong is the one to eat the soup in theirs, bursts out, whereas this had very little soup and was generally dryer) Service was good. The waiter poured tea for us periodically. They did not change the plates for us. I'm not sure whether we remember correctly that they used to do this a few years back before the MCO. Parking is shaded inside hartamas shopping centre. There is the option of parking directly outside the restaurant. But is limited and more suitable for the evening or night diners. The dessert we had a glutinous rice ball. This is the best version I have had. The ginger in the soup is extremely gingery. Leaving a nice warm after taste when you drink it. For anyone who is a ginger fan, please try this dessert to complete your meal

The quality, size & taste needs further tuning. However service is par excellent while Decor though dated needs to be refurbished. A more vibrant outlook will be suffice to draw on the younger generation crowd.
