First time here in the club after they relocate from 1u. More choices, price are acceptable too. I think the management is doing a great job from the menu system where they have the 30ish myr dishes up to hundreds per dishes options. At this environment, money well spent

Food was ok. Waiters were super slow. They took 10 - 20 mins just to refill my water..
Had a sumptuous lunch here and given that our order was for a set meal, we were given a room. There was quite a crowd with all rooms fully occuppied. The food was good. All dishes served in the 8 course meal was good. Particularly liked the crab platter, sharks fin soup, XO sauce sauteed kailan and the tiger prawns noodles. The sharks fin soup has a twist which gave it a distinct difference from others that I have tasted i.e. a piece of black garlic and thai style chili sauce which went really well with the soup. The iberico ribs was a tad mediocre as it was quite salty and fat. Dessert was good. Service was alright. But at some point, the waiter dedicated to our room appears to be in a rush in clearing the plates while we have not yet fully savioured the dish. Atmosphere was good. Room was equipped with a karoke set which had a good selection of english and chinese songs. Size was large enough to sit comfortably and move around in between dishes. Parking was also easy. There is basement parking which is open for all i.e. not only diners. Only issue is with signage. Had to go a large circle thru the driving range to get back to the same place for an exit. Parking charge is a flat RM2.
The restaurant is huge and grandly decorated. A nice wedding venue and a great place to hold a special occasions as it is strategically located in Petaling Jaya. The food was excellent, and service was great too.
酒樓位置比較偏 ，但亦因為這樣，所以午間泊車比較多位。 酒樓裝修屬於上等，侍應服務週到。 現在已經找不到有酒樓為你的茶用蠟燭保暖，這是屬於罕有的一間。 重點當然是點心及食物質素。點心選擇不算太多， 但質素屬於上乘。今次去嘗試的是六人套餐及點心，雖然較一般的貴，但質素上乘，人人都吃得開心。
We just had our luncheon wedding here in Grand Imperial Restaurant Hartamas. Our families enjoyed every dishes and complimented that all are delicious & excellent & presentable. We will definitely recommend friends to come over & make another visit soon 😉 I would to thank Cindy, restaurant manager whom has been accommodating to our request whether big or small or special. She work hard till midnight also responsive to our texts. She really did well & deliver great excellent customer service to us & family. She deserved token of appreciation from Grand imperial 😉 I would like to also thank Nichole (previously in charge of our wedding which has handed over to Cindy). She is very friendly, cheerful & approachable, go beyond extra mile to assist to our requests especially involving negotiation. All negotiation is on our favour 😉 She never fails to help us & enlighten us in many ways. She also deserved token of appreciation from Grand imperial 😉 Thank you to both ladies, Cindy & Nichole 🙏

This is my family's favorite restaurant. We dine here for dim sum, lunch, or dinner at least once a month. It's a highly recommended Chinese restaurant with excellent food, service, and atmosphere.
The service was excellent. 5 star service in a normal priced restaurant. Thus far this is the restaurant with the best service in KL. They were attentive to our needs, made sure my kids were safe when serving the food. I will definitely come back just because of the wonderful service. Shout out to the server, Chinese male who really took care of us. Peking duck was good, spinach soup was excellent.
All time favourite. The nearest authentic Cantonese cuisine. Food are the best as noble house.
Food quality: The fried soft shell crab with passionfruit sauce is very tasty. I'm usually not a fan of smoked duck but their smoked duck noodles is a delight. Their food is great. Service: A bit slow, the dishes take quite a long time to arrive. Ambience: Quite a big hall, suitable for weddings.
Me and my wife had wonderful wedding dinner held at Grand Imperial Restaurant, Sunway Velocity. Served throughout this whole period by Albee and is totally magnificient. Even during the actual day, reminding us for the schedule to ensure nothing missing out including her colleague Jason taking care well for me and our frens and families. Surely recommending this restaurant for wedding.
Did my wedding dinner here and get a lot compliments from my guests. The food and services here is good, especially the PIC Albee is very helpful! She has help me arranged and settled down everything from start till the actual day.
I recently had my wedding at this venue, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for our special day. Albee, the manager, and her team were incredibly efficient and well-experienced in handling wedding receptions. On the day itself, my wife and I didn't have to lift a finger. Albee was always there, coordinating everything seamlessly, from the band performances to accommodating extra guests. Thanks to her, everything went off without a hitch, and our guests were very happy and content. Highly recommend this venue for any special event!
Best place to have excellent Chinese cuisine in an up-market setting. Best to have a group of 4 or more so that you can order a variety of unique Chinese dishes (mainly Cantonese both traditional and fusion style). Great to bring your parents (and future in laws haha) to impress
Attended a wedding dinner here and totally enjoyed the food and loved the deco so so much. Makes the wedding venue looks very pretty and atas.

Came here for the reunion, pretty good service 👍. Hall is huge and good to cater for the wedding or birthday party.
The dim sum is as good as before, Seafood fried rice with plenty of prawns. Soft dim sum skin.
We tried dimsum and some veggies for 2 tables. Serving start ard 12pm, not too crowded. Tables distance just good that you wont be hearing noises from another table. Table setting is neat, clean and the servants are polite and attentive. We tried peking duck and duck meat were cook and eaten with lettuce wrap. Spanish Iberico pork ribs. Tasty, a bit dry on certain part. Its not too fatty for me, so is perfect! Some part of the bones are soft which i like it. Dimsum, overall is tasty and they serve hot. The carrot cakes is the specialty from this restaurany. There is some surprises with the ingredient they used, fragrance, flavourful and they cook with french beans. Char Siew Bao is normal. Custard buns you may want to try. The whitish skin of lau-sa-bao. Noodle is good, tasty with every bites. Worth teying if you have carb quota on your diet.
One of the better place for Chinese Dining...... Tried both Dim Sum and dinners settings. Dim Sum are surprisingly good, pretty decent variety and good quality. Dinner fairs are standard, probably above average. Prices are fair, for the location, food quality and service by the waiters. I would recommend this place if asked.
The service attendants were very helpful and attentive. Our needs are well taken care of. They recommended the latest offer so we can enjoy our food at the best price. The dining experience was great, nice music and great service. Will definitely come back in future.

Come here for Suzuki CNY event. The place was quite nice. A perfect place to host a program. They even serve halal food for Muslim.

Gathering dinner at VIP room @18pax. Service is good. Food is served at individual plate. Room is spacious comes with toilet too.
Great Cantonese style cuisine. Fish (soon hock) is excellent. Service is prompt and efficient. Portions of vege are very satisfying. Not too crowded but busy enough to add to the weekend buzz

20231230 - One of our regular spot for dimsum brunch They were great, not imposing time limit on table seating on this busy New Year Eve weekend .. unlike many other places Supervisor CM Lee was a gem, looking after us really well and making sure our guest, Mitchell from NYC who was allergic to crustaceans, did not inadvertently consume any of the dimsum which might have some of this ingredients
Love the London duck and generally the quality of food is one of the best within the grand imperial group

Place: air-conditioned restaurant with really big hall space for wedding functions and very comfortable seats, that specialises in dim sum (in the morning) and dish based Chinese cuisine. They really put the word GRAND in their name. They are pork and lard free (but not halal certified). Service: tip top for a restaurant of this calibre. Expected nothing less. Well done. They even help divide up the dishes to each individual. Teas were refilled promptly and without asking. Food: 1. Fried dim sum: I must say the ingredients were fresh (i.e. prawns) and fried to crispy perfection. The cooking brought out the sweetness of the ingredients and made it a heavenly bomb in my palate. Verdict: 4.8/5. 2. Roasted London duck: their famed specialty and one that loves up to its name as their signature dish. The duck meat was cooked to perfect moisture, skin roasted to crispy perfection, with flavour infused to heavenly goodness, and an explosion of taste in my mouth upon the first bite. The combination of 3 different sauces was the icing on the cake in this dish, each complementarity of each other, from sweet to salty. A wonder to behold. Verdict: 4.8/5. 3. Iberico roasted pork: the flavour in this dish, was beyond words of description. It was complex and too wonderful to describe. You'd have to taste it to understand. Verdict: 4.8/5.
Lovely place for a quiet dim sum lunch on a weekday. We were served well (efficient tea refills and clearing of finished dishes). Food tastes up to standard and well presented, we loved the fried glutinous rice ball with pork inside. Of course, a lot more pricey than Jin Xuan and Foo Hing dim sum, a nice treat once in a while. Only feedback is staff didn't see us off, politeness and courtesy can be better.
Food is good, portions are big so order carefully. Good variety too.
We love the superior lala soup very much. The seafood is fresh, dumplings and a lot of handmade ingredients taste good. Environment is cozy and waiters are attentive, will help to cook and keep coming to change plate. Just the price is on the higher side. So far this is my favourite hotpot place and I always recommend it to my friends.
Pork ribs were Out of the world! It literally melts in your mouth when served hot, be sure to whack it once it’s served. Highly recommended to come here for authentic Chinese cuisine, try out the lotus leaf rice too if you’re a rice lover 🙂

Late lunch with dim sum delicious food are hot and tasty service excellent
Was here with my family to celebrate my baby's full moon. Food quality was alright and maintained at an expected standard from this group of restaurant but it was the service here that was exceptional and made a difference. We were being attended by one Mr Lee CM. Attentive, efficient and friendly service from him. Checked on us frequently to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Was patient with us and our newborn, he was even kind enough to offer us dessert on the house. With his presence and service together with his team of waiters, this branch will be my to go place if i ever stop at Bangsar.

Really nice fried chicken, I enjoyed the iberico pork individually served too, and the stir fried veges were so fresh. Wife enjoyed the Tang Yuen whilst LMC and me had the pancakes. Perfect with our sweet Riesling. No corkage for our Barolo and Burgundy too, with nice enough wine glasses provided too. Chris the manager provided impeccable and warm customer service, thanks!

주변에 무제한 훠궈, 샤브샤브 음식점들이 대기가 너무 길어서 대기가 없는 곳으로 들어갔어요. 일단 재료가 신선해요. 고기류도 다 맛있고 특히 버섯이 맛있어도 계속 시켰어요. 가격대는 있는 편이지만 무제한 식당보다 조금만 더 투자하면 되는 정도인 것 같아요. 새우가 들어가 있는 육수를 선택했는데 입에 상당히 잘 맞았어요. 배추 시금치 등 채소류도 꼭 먹어야합니다.
Service staff were very prompt, attentive, and polite; food was pretty good (unique selection of soup bases, fresh food - definitely different from your run-of-the-mill hotpot chains); no waiting time at peak hour despite almost full house; reasonable pricing. I will be sure to choose this over the one on L10 🙂
Attended a wedding dinner a few days back. Nice ambience. Food was good, just that I didn't get to take any photos. One of the dishes that deeply impressed me was the Iberico Pork Ribs. Would be keen to see how their usual restaurant food is like though. Good job overall.
My first return visit after covid, and the restaurant's quality in term of food and service are still tip-top. This pork free steamboat restaurant offers qualify beef and fresh seafood. Price is steep but worth it.

This is to me the best Hotpot I've had. Quite pricey, but you pay for what you get. The soups are amazing, the noodles are great, and the condiments are fresh! I highly recommend the Mala soup, and the Drunken Chicken soup. Extremely delicious
The steamboat soup base was superb, when it is cooked with grouper slices, tiger prawns and other fresh ingredients in the restaurant, it makes the soup base more deep in flavour, we finished it with noodles in the end. We had a memorable time.
Grand Imperial restaurant needs no introduction as it has already established in Klang Valley for very long time. One of the popular group of restaurants together with Oriental Group, I would go to dine once in a while. A lot of my friends told me that the restaurant in Bangsar Shopping Center (BSC) is the best among the rests. If you know the chef's or captains personally, sometimes they can create off-menu items specially for you. Otherwise just select from the thick menu book. ◾Pan fried iberico pork chop - purposely select this piece of meat to pair with my red wine which worked wonders. The meat had nicely charred edge while retaining its moist and tenderness. ◾roasted chicken - old school style with keropok on the side for the kids. Crispy skin and juicy meat were what I was looking for and they nailed it. ◾braised beancurd with black fungus & mushrooms - the young ones actually commented that the gravy was delicious when mixed with white rice. ◾Fried rice with egg & prawns had enough wok hei and essential flavour to keep me stealing spoon after spoon of it. ◾Desserts for those who have sweet tooth and they loved it! Despite being packed, the captain tried his best to serve us with a smile.

One of the few pork-free restaurants in KL serving high-quality, authentic Szechuan-style hotpot. Quite pricey, but it's well worth it. Fresh ingredients, and very attentive service. The broth tastes really fresh too - I have no complaints at all. The space is family-friendly. Much recommended.
Popular place for dim sum and wedding functions. One of my favorite places to have a relaxing Chinese meal. You can either go for the ala carte menu, the set menu, the dim sum for lunch and the steam boat for dinner. I have tried all of them and they are great. I find the ala carte to be a little pricey but not the rest. You can either make a grand impression on your missus by giving your car keys to the jockey at the main road entrance or save a few dollars by parking in the shopping centre's indoor car park.
Aside from their popular hot pot and grilled meat dishes, this outlet serves several types of "la mien".....all tasty and reasonably priced. Wine and food Service is the usual high standard.
