RatingWas here this evening for a family dinner. Staff are super friendly and always at hand and ready to serve. The Manager (owner?) was very helpful in recommending dishes to suit our family with children. The food was excellent and we were able to take out what we couldn't finish. Will come back!

Had a very good dining experience at this restaurant. Good for special occasions. Service staff very attentive in replenishing Chinese tea. Dirty plates get replaced quickly and making sure empty plates were removed. Some food photos not included cause forgot to take pictures but it was a satisfying meal. This is more of a upper restaurant so pricing is not your typical dim sum restaurant prices. Their Chinese tea basically starts from Rm4.50 per pax. 10% service charge including government tax of 6%.
We sincerely thank Mr. Ken Lee for his professionalism and warm hospitality in swiftly resolving the event incidents with great care. Special credit also goes to Jay, Cindy, and Adam for their dedication and support in ensuring everything went smoothly. The entire team’s efforts made the experience at Grand Imperial Hartamas both memorable and truly satisfying.
The dim sum dishes are so yummy better than many famous rest in Singapore or hong Kong . The rest manager Annie is so nice and friendly . Will be back for lunch tomorrow with reservations make .

The restaurant service is excellent. Was suppose to attend a concert at arena of stars and came to the restaurant for early dinner thinking that the concert starting at 8pm. While waiting for the food to be served and suddenly realized that the concert starting at 6pm instead. We inform the service staff to pack up the food for us uneaten while we pay for it and collect it after the concert. Came back to the restaurant after the concert and requested if we could have the packed food in the restaurant instead of taking it away and without hesitation they agreed to it. What surprises me was that they even heat up the food for us and recook the vegetable for us which we packed as the service staff inform that the vegetable had turned soggy since the one we order was with soup. Really good experience with the restaurant. Will revisit again when I come genting.
Yummy roasted duck and beancurd. The roasted duck is as crispy as suckling pork. 😋😋😋
We had a wonderful dining experience at this Chinese restaurant. We ordered a set menu for six, and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and the overall value for money. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. We also added an à la carte dish — the village chicken fried with sliced ginger — and it completely exceeded our expectations. Who knew fried ginger could taste this good? It was fragrant, crispy, and added a unique flavor to the dish. A definite must-try! The staff were generally attentive and helpful, though a few of the foreign workers seemed a little unsure, possibly new, as they were confused by a simple request for fork and spoon. That said, it didn’t affect our overall experience too much. All in all, great food, good service, and excellent value. We’d definitely come back!
Food tasted great, crispy roast pork was not too fatty and skin was crunchy. Hot plate beef was tender and juicy. Peking duck was not as tasty as the one at Fei Duck Jakarta-but ok. 2nd serving of peking duck was not too oily so perfect to eat with lettuce. Mixed veggies stir-fry was tasty too. We tried their dimsum the next morning and it was a real hit!
Ordered a few dim sum items along with: • 鍋仔魚湯鮮竹滾莧菜苗 • 港式生炒菠蘿骨 • 深海龍虎躉花膠火腩蒜子 Highlights from the meal: • 水晶鮮蝦餃: The skin was delicately crafted and translucent, wrapping around a few whole, plump shrimp — fresh and flavorful. • 蛋撻: Excellent — soft, smooth custard with a gentle crust that didn’t overpower. • 鮮蝦腐皮卷: Nicely done — crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. • 懷舊馬來糕: Lightly sweetened with a nostalgic touch, and the texture was fluffy yet moist. • 鍋仔魚湯鮮竹滾莧菜苗: Deliciously done. The broth was light yet rich, and I really enjoyed the taste and fragrance of the 腐皮 — subtle, comforting, and full of depth. The only letdown was the 深海龍虎躉花膠火腩蒜子 — the portion felt small for the price, and it would’ve been better with more fish in the mix. Overall, a thoughtfully prepared and enjoyable meal with several standout dishes. Will definitely come again to try more.

I had my wedding dinner held here and our PIC Albee was awesome. She made sure everything, from top to bottom, went smoothly and whatever needs we had were met. Out food was too salty during food tasting, she made sure it was just right on the day it self, and the food was great! Especially their chicken soup, it was sooo good. The whole wedding went smoothly with no hicks and our timing was the most on time wedding my mum has ever been to (partly thanks to our guests for being punctual as well). Servers were efficient and everything was well communicated. Definitely made my big day memorable and worth it.
Part of a famous Chinese restaurant chain, the Grand Imperial on level 3 of the Bangsar Shopping center is a nice place to take family and friends for lunch or dinner. Favorite dishes - the 3 seasons combo with cooked prawns, yam with scallop inserts and I think honey pork ribs were a great starter. Others that I enjoyed were the little lin yong buns they served as desert towards the end of the dinner. My wife seems to love all the dishes.
Always best tasting and quality never dissapointing. Have eaten here many times and I must say it taste even better than KL branch. Some notable dishes were: The London duck was delicious so moist and crispy skin. The fishmaw shark bone soup always a best seller. Roast pork skin crisp and juicy. Attentive service and nice dining experience.
Excellent food and service, the Tim Sum is amazing, also tried shrimp paste iberico ribs and the duck.
Great service - staff were always refilling our tea and attentive. Food was good - we ordered a suckling pig and a fried soon hock which were very good. Suckling pig needs to be ordered in advance with a deposit so take note. Useful tip: in genting it's best not to look at the very high review score restaurants - it is likely they bought those reviews. This restaurant is easily better than all those high review score ones we tried.

We recently had our associate appreciation dinner at Grand Imperial Bangsar, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambience was elegant and welcoming. Just right for a special evening. The food was top-notch, beautifully presented, and full of rich, authentic flavours. A special thanks to Ms. Bobo for her excellent service. She was incredibly helpful, and attentive. She had great follow up with the preparation leading up to the event and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. 酒樓位置比較偏 ，但亦因為這樣，所以午間泊車比較多位。 酒樓裝修屬於上等，侍應服務週到。 現在已經找不到有酒樓為你的茶用蠟燭保暖，這是屬於罕有的一間。 重點當然是點心及食物質素。點心選擇不算太多， 但質素屬於上乘。今次去嘗試的是六人套餐及點心，雖然較一般的貴，但質素上乘，人人都吃得開心。 小菜，湯類也是近期心頭好，忍不住隔個星期也想去吃。(雖然確實較一般的貴了點)

Sunday 4 May 2025 - invited for a birthday lunch. It was a reservation table. It was a dim sum lunch. Dim sum variety is very good. Food quality is also very good. The staff were attentive and helpful. Very good environment for business lunch and/or dinner. Also good for wedding receptions, especially Chinese style - lunch or dinner.
This Chinese restaurant is excellent. Superb variety of Cantonese-style cooking. Does a great Peking Duck. It has been consistent for last 3 years we’ve been going there. Expensive but you get what you paid for. Quality after all is a price you pay. We have this German couple friend who will always insist on this place to eat on each year they visit us in KL. Definitely one of my go-to Chinese restaurant

Great CNY feel in the restaurant. Fish maw soup is light and no fishy smell. Steam fish was a bit bland. The star was definately the Iberico spare ribs!!. Gloves was provided so you could eat with your hands, feels abit like a barbarian. hahhaha. Prawns was fresh and chewy. Even the glutinous rice taste light and deliciuos. Came decorated with whole abalone...Yee Sang was with abalone though tasted "normal"
It is located at the 9th floor of the famous Pavilion KL Mall. Nice choices of dishes. Especially the mango pomelo saga, super super delicious 😋.
When expectations are managed and we just want good chinese food, Grand Imperial never disappoints. Apart from the top notch service team, the chefs here prepare some of the most delicious chinese dishes ever. We don’t usually choose from the menu and just let them tell us what we should have and they nail it all the time. Lovely meal. Ultimate shiok.

Had steamboat ala carte for dinner here. This is a traditional Chinese full service restaurant. food was very fresh, some of the premium seafood items are live in tanks. Service is attentive, superb, and not obtrusive. I was very impressed overall. Toilets are very clean, too. The soup base was super delicious. Only one small gripe is the aircon is way too cold, freezing. Come with sweater if u plan to stay long. Definitely will come back here for any celebration or special dinners. Our cost was about 115rm per pax but the dinner was worth every sen. Helps if you have at least someone in the party who speaks Chinese, though. The server's recommendations for menu items was spot on.
It feels luxurious to be here. The food are of high quality, rich flavor, and vivid colors. Humble and attentive staff always ready to cater to your needs.
We had dim sum and peking duck. ( the peking duck was up to their usual standard-eggscellent!!. The meat was cooked in the fried rice style ( you may choose noodles as an alternative) the xiao loong bao was the only disappointing dim sum dish we had. ( Din Fai Foong is the one to eat the soup in theirs, bursts out, whereas this had very little soup and was generally dryer) Service was good. The waiter poured tea for us periodically. They did not change the plates for us. I'm not sure whether we remember correctly that they used to do this a few years back before the MCO. Parking is shaded inside hartamas shopping centre. There is the option of parking directly outside the restaurant. But is limited and more suitable for the evening or night diners. The dessert we had a glutinous rice ball. This is the best version I have had. The ginger in the soup is extremely gingery. Leaving a nice warm after taste when you drink it. For anyone who is a ginger fan, please try this dessert to complete your meal

The quality, size & taste needs further tuning. However service is par excellent while Decor though dated needs to be refurbished. A more vibrant outlook will be suffice to draw on the younger generation crowd.
My preferred Chinese cuisine restaurant is a great place to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food is delicious.

Fine Dining Cantonese cuisine. The charsiew and siew yoke always excellent. Standout dish is the Coral trout lightly blanched in olive oil. Food and wine Service is always good.

The service is good & excellent food after a sumptuous dinner the next day we went for their dim sum for breakfast .high recommend to try their London’s Chinese roast duck carry subtle hints of sweetness from honey, hoisin sauce, or plum sauce, which pairs beautifully with the saltiness of the soy-based marinade. Traditional Chinese roasting techniques with local flair. Crispy skin, juicy, tender meat an indulgent experience—perfect for sharing and savouring over an extended meal. Our recent visit to this restaurant resulted in one of the best dim sum experiences we’ve had to date. Each dish was delicately prepared with great attention to detail. The Scallop Chee Cheong Fun stood out remarkably; its skin was soft and thin, achieving a texture that’s notoriously difficult to perfect but done masterfully here. Additionally, the Frog Porridge was exceptional. The porridge was likely simmered for hours, as evidenced by its creamy texture and deep flavors that were thoroughly infused throughout the dish. All other dim sum items we tried maintained the same high standard, with each bite conveying the chefs’ commitment to quality and traditional craftsmanship. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic, beautifully crafted dim sum. A truly five-star experience in every aspect!
This has become our goto place in KL for dimsum. After trying a dozen places we settled on Grand Imperial - convenient location, good starters and great food. I have not gone wrong so far with this place - highly recommended. Just note that the restaurent hours are different to the mall.

First time here in the club after they relocate from 1u. More choices, price are acceptable too. I think the management is doing a great job from the menu system where they have the 30ish myr dishes up to hundreds per dishes options. At this environment, money well spent

We have been eating at this restaurant for years and always had a satisfying feeling while leaving . For a brief while the food was mediocre especially the grilled Iberico Spanish pork ribs (spices just not agreeable to our taste buds) , we have tasted better ones elsewhere . Recently the food have improved …. I particularly enjoyed the fruity salad with fried fish bait which was prepared with such fresh delicious flavour , it was so yummy that leaves me craving for more! Equally yummy is the smooth shark fin soup which is my all time favourite . At times although one or two dishes turn out mediocre our overall experience was compensated by the incredibly friendly and attentive service given by Bobo and her team ! We really appreciate the attention given by this cheerful lady , kudos to such an exemplary staff !

Had a sumptuous lunch here and given that our order was for a set meal, we were given a room. There was quite a crowd with all rooms fully occuppied. The food was good. All dishes served in the 8 course meal was good. Particularly liked the crab platter, sharks fin soup, XO sauce sauteed kailan and the tiger prawns noodles. The sharks fin soup has a twist which gave it a distinct difference from others that I have tasted i.e. a piece of black garlic and thai style chili sauce which went really well with the soup. The iberico ribs was a tad mediocre as it was quite salty and fat. Dessert was good. Service was alright. But at some point, the waiter dedicated to our room appears to be in a rush in clearing the plates while we have not yet fully savioured the dish. Atmosphere was good. Room was equipped with a karoke set which had a good selection of english and chinese songs. Size was large enough to sit comfortably and move around in between dishes. Parking was also easy. There is basement parking which is open for all i.e. not only diners. Only issue is with signage. Had to go a large circle thru the driving range to get back to the same place for an exit. Parking charge is a flat RM2.

The restaurant is huge and grandly decorated. A nice wedding venue and a great place to hold a special occasions as it is strategically located in Petaling Jaya. The food was excellent, and service was great too.
The Mooncake packaging is elegant and perfect for gifting, while the mooncakes themselves were simply divine. The texture was smooth, the filling was rich and flavourful, and the sweetness was just right
Came here for breakfast. Saw the char siu in the photo and can already tell it is the gourmet one that is caramelised and melt in the mouth type. We order the char siu noodles, yam puff and glutinous rice. The yam puff was very flaky and melt in mouth also, char inside with the sauce was amazing. The glutinous rice was also pretty good but not outstanding compare to other dish. The char siu from the noodles was exactly as I imagined it. It was crispy, fatty and sweet and savoury. Noodles was just ok, I feel that component was underwhelming but overall the char siu carried this dish to the next level. I also like the walnut snacks that they provided which however was not complimentary (around 14 myr). Overall very satisfying meal.
We just had our luncheon wedding here in Grand Imperial Restaurant Hartamas. Our families enjoyed every dishes and complimented that all are delicious & excellent & presentable. We will definitely recommend friends to come over & make another visit soon 😉 I would to thank Cindy, restaurant manager whom has been accommodating to our request whether big or small or special. She work hard till midnight also responsive to our texts. She really did well & deliver great excellent customer service to us & family. She deserved token of appreciation from Grand imperial 😉 I would like to also thank Nichole (previously in charge of our wedding which has handed over to Cindy). She is very friendly, cheerful & approachable, go beyond extra mile to assist to our requests especially involving negotiation. All negotiation is on our favour 😉 She never fails to help us & enlighten us in many ways. She also deserved token of appreciation from Grand imperial 😉 Thank you to both ladies, Cindy & Nichole 🙏

Really nice fried chicken, I enjoyed the iberico pork individually served too, and the stir fried veges were so fresh. Wife enjoyed the Tang Yuen whilst LMC and me had the pancakes. Perfect with our sweet Riesling. No corkage for our Barolo and Burgundy too, with nice enough wine glasses provided too. Chris the manager provided impeccable and warm customer service, thanks!
This is my family's favorite restaurant. We dine here for dim sum, lunch, or dinner at least once a month. It's a highly recommended Chinese restaurant with excellent food, service, and atmosphere.
The service was excellent. 5 star service in a normal priced restaurant. Thus far this is the restaurant with the best service in KL. They were attentive to our needs, made sure my kids were safe when serving the food. I will definitely come back just because of the wonderful service. Shout out to the server, Chinese male who really took care of us. Peking duck was good, spinach soup was excellent.

Affordable price and best Dim Sum in the whole Genting. You can tell how fresh everything is by the fact that even their wanton noodle’s free soup had a strong shrimp taste to it. Absolutely value for money
All time favourite. The nearest authentic Cantonese cuisine. Food are the best as noble house.
